[pt] Quando aceitei o convite da Editora Antofágica para reinterpretar visualmente O Morro dos Ventos Uivantes para sua coleção Nano, me senti honrada e petrificada na mesma medida. Traduzir as palavras da autora em uma colagem foi uma tarefa complexa e, ao mesmo tempo, gratificante demais. Cada elemento da composição é uma peça do quebra-cabeça literário de Emily Brontë; desde a sombria mansão de Wuthering Heights até a personalidade de cada um dos personagens, cada detalhe é carregado de simbolismo. A escolha das imagens e texturas para compor essa colagem me exigiu sensibilidade e uma compreensão íntima da narrativa.

A dualidade entre amor e ódio, a luta entre classes sociais, e a atmosfera da paisagem foram elementos que inspiraram minha criação. [en] When I accepted the invitation from Editora Antofágica to visually reinterpret Wuthering Heights for their Nano collection, I felt honored and petrified in equal measure. Translating the author's words into a collage was a complex and, at the same time, extremely rewarding task. Each element of the composition is a piece of Emily Brontë's literary puzzle; From the gloomy mansion of Wuthering Heights to the personality of each of the characters, every detail is loaded with symbolism. The choice of images and textures to compose this collage required sensitivity and an intimate understanding of the narrative.
It was a challenge to visually represent the complexity of the characters and themes covered in the book. The duality between love and hate, the struggle between social classes, and the atmosphere of the landscape were elements that inspired my creation. Each cut was an attempt to capture the essence of the original text and, at the same time, create an image that captured the readers' attention.
